Default snow bomb

Who says you cant get good storm shots in the winter

Went down to lake ontario to see if i could catch some snow spouts yesterday(the 8th) but it ended up the winds weren't there I did however catch this micro burst snow bomb developing. Not quite enough instability to generate thundersnow but not far off. The picture is the what came out of it.

Nice shot! Not sure where you shot it, but here in north-end St. Catharines we got pummeled pretty good for a couple hours. The south end of the city was BLUE SKIES! I left the north end in blizzard like conditions, drove into clear skies in the south to drop someone off, then drove back into the dark snow belt again. It was strange how localized it was for a winter storm.
