 ISSUED BY ENVIRONMENT CANADA
 AT 1:43 AM EDT WEDNESDAY 8 JUNE 2011.

 TORNADO WARNING FOR:
 =NEW= CITY OF HAMILTON.

 ==DISCUSSION==
 AT 1:30 AM WEATHER RADAR SHOWS AN INTENSE THUNDERSTORM OVER THE CITY
 OF HAMILTON.  A SPOTTER REPORTED A POTENTIAL TORNADO AND THE RADAR IS
 INDICATING SAME.  THE INTENSE THUNDERSTORM IS MOVING SOUTHWARD AT
 50 KM/H.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS LIKELY PRODUCING TORNADOES ARE IMMINENT OR
 OCCURRING IN THE AREA.  LARGE HAIL, DAMAGING WINDS AND HEAVY RAINFALL
 MAY ALSO ACCOMPANY THESE STORMS.

MONITOR WEATHER CONDITIONS AND TAKE IMMEDIATE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS IF
 THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES.
