Thunderstorm, possible tornado carves path of destruction

CAMBRAY - An Environment Canada team is heading to the Fenelon Falls area on Wednesday to investigate whether a storm around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday that levelled buildings and felled trees was a tornado.
The storm knocked out power to thousands of Hydro One customers in the City of Kawartha Lakes and Peterborough areas.
By early Wednesday morning, 2,785 Hydro One customers in the City of Kawartha Lakes and 55 in Peterborough County were still without power, with some estimated to not get their power restored until 10 p.m. Wednesday.
