nice lightning and thunder here...heavy downpour and marble sized hail in some areas!! :P

could be a good day for water spouts on any of the great lakes. lots of instability even lake effect thunderstorms this morning.

Winds werent that strong but ALOT of lighting here in Ottawa and heavy downpoor and hail about an inch diameter! Heres a pic my dad took yesterday. Came down HARD!

Sunday turned out to be quite a day for Waterspouts. this article was in the welland tribune.

One thing: please only quote the first paragraph or two of an article. Do no post the entire article as both the site AND yourself could end up in trouble. (unless you obtain permission beforehand from the source, in which case they usually want you to pay a fee). Thanks.
