Photos Sun. Aug.2, 2015 - tornado warnings. CONFIRMED: EF1 + EF2 TORNADOS

This looks to be an active few days ahead. The SPC has us in "enhanced" today/tonight.
Looks like a better chance of severe than my last post July 19th...
Have a great day.

I'm on the leading edge of this right now, just starting to get really dark here in Midland. The radar is showing a very turbulent system, every velocity cross-section angle looks completely different. huge temperature drop too. Feels atleast 6 deg C cooler and dropping.

Wasn't terrible, less wind than i would've thought. Nice lightning though and some heavy rain.

yup, thought so :P

Code:
3:52 PM EDT Sunday 02 August 2015
Tornado warning in effect for:

Saugeen Shores - Kincardine - Southern Bruce County

Persons in or near this area should be on the lookout for adverse weather conditions and take necessary safety precautions. Watch for updated statements.

Please refer to the latest public forecasts for further details and continue to monitor the situation through your local radio and television stations or Weatheradio.

3:10 PM EDT Sunday 02 August 2015
Severe thunderstorm warning in effect for:

Bruce Peninsula - Sauble Beach - Tobermory

Updated or ended by 4:25 p.m. EDT.

At 3 P.M. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a cluster of severe thunderstorms near Oliphant capable of producing local strong wind gusts and Toonie size hail and heavy rain. Motion is to the east-southeast at around 50 km/h. It will affect locales to the southwest of Wiarton up to 4 P.M. EDT.

Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches. Large hail can damage property and cause injury. Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, break branches off trees and overturn large vehicles. Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Go indoors and move away from windows and skylights.

The Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management recommends that you take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches.

Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required. Please monitor local media or Weatheradio. To report severe weather, send an email to storm.ontario@ec.gc.ca or tweet reports to #ONStorm.

Also interesting storm motion near stayner and creemore. In 2014 I think a similar pattern was responsible for an F1 further south by Hwy 89 or Hwy 9 can't remember. But that should be closely watched. Either way there's also some very strong gust fronts associated with that storm and the one southwest of it
