WINDSOR, Ont. -- A violent summer storm lashed Windsor and Essex County Saturday night, toppling trees and knocking out power to dozens of traffic lights and thousands of homes.
“It's been busy. We're prioritizing our cleanup, but I can tell you right now that there's a lot of damage out there," said Windsor police Staff Sgt. Dave Kigar shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday.
