We have had nothing but rain lately. I've heard some other areas of the province have had some heavy snowfalls.
'Just checking in on a VERY slow storm season....

We have had a few heavy snowfalls 20-30cm but it keeps melting away a week later so our accumulation this year looks much less than normal despite normal snowfall amounts. Interestingly though we had our first thunderstorm of the year roll through last night. lightning almost every 30 seconds, heavy rain. just an odd time of year for that.

I had to shovel once - back in December. And I didn't even have to. There was about 2cm on the ground and I got a new snowblower this year and I rushed to test it out before the snow melted. Other than that we've been without snow this year. Most of February has been above freezing. Last week we hit 18.1C !

This is easily the stormiest February I've ever seen! Seems like every week there's a storm threat. I will not complain! We had snow in KW before winter. Then Christmas rolled in and it was almost always rain whenever a system went through. Most snow just came from lake effect.
