Hard to believe this is October. In a month were lake effect cloud is most dominant weather feature, today here in Niagara we had Lake breeze cumulus form along the mid peninsula. With the weather extremes of late we have experienced both lake effect and lake breeze which even produced some Tstorms over Western NY in late September. Looking forward to the chance of storms late tomorrow through Saturday.

Yep, October often provides us with some nice storms. I remember years ago a VERY severe tstorm in mid-October. Horizontal torrential rain, continuous lightning, etc. There's still time yet!
