Default may 3, 2012 st. catharines

These shots, are the last two flashes of lightning over st. catharines as the storms petered out. The southern part of the peninsula had a bit more action as did the areas to our west.
The first shot isn't too fancy but i like the little tendrils coming down from behind the cloud, like a spider coming out of its lair. It led to photo 2. The third one is of the next lightning bolt very impressive. These stills were taken from a video. The reflection is the roof of my car as i did not have my tripod.

obwan, nice pics. Can't wait for the season to pick up again. You should head to that location as much as possible this season, looks like a good storm viewing spot.
