SURPRISE! There are actually storms happening! Tons of lightning and non stop thunder moving into KW. Other areas have experienced tremendous amounts of rain and strong wind gusts. Now if it would just spread out to areas to the south as well, so places like St. Catherine's could get some rain.

WOW! Big storms too! Unfortunately I'll be driving in to work during them and won't be able to actually witness much.

http://weather.gc.ca/warnings/weathe...ries_e.html#ON Weather Summary. Brantford recorded a gust to 89 km/h. Many places saw 25+ mm of rain. St. Thomas might have seen a downburst. Massive tree damage there. One photo shows the entire earth lifted up by the trees roots. It's gotta take a lot of wind to push down a tree thats root so well.

We had a good downpour here around 7am with some good CG lightning, lots of innner-cloud lightning. Winds were low to moderate.
