The first severe thunderstorm watch of the year has been issued from Windsor up to Barrie. I don't know how to make a simple list of places under the watch, so I will just link EC's fancy new warning map.
http://weather.gc.ca/warnings/index_e.html?prov=son Also note that places like Detroit are under a tornado watch. Last edited by Stormydude; 04-18-2013 at 12:37 PM. |

What do you guys think of the new severe thunderstorm warning message format? Also, is there anyone near the severe thunderstorm warning that can record the message over the weather radio? Curious to see what it sounds like.

Weak little shelf approaching me in London. Just got off work not thinking it's worth driving north at this point to intercept. They don't look very strong at all.

Some word of a tube way up north of Shelburne. Some surface level rotation was detected there too.

We got skirted by a fantastic shelf cloud which passed over the city with a cell that went through Woolwich Township.

Lots of lightning and odd dark clouds here in Sutton and a bit of wind.
However a barn was ripped to shreds and moved across the road in Shelburne http://ca.news.yahoo.com/possible-to...102633315.html So maybe the first real twister of the year already? |
