I was awakend by a cell that popped up over Bradford at 4:15 to 4:30 am. There was a few bolts
of lightning and a heavy downpour with some marginally severe hail. Storm is now I think out over lake Ontario. Nothing major but enough to soak the garden and the holland marsh which was much needed up here |

Actually getting really excited right now. In the daily thunderstorm statement they're saying isolated tornadoes are possible, and Sudbury all the way into the Ottawa Valley is in the red for severe thunderstorms tonight according to The Weather Network. It's been really hot and humid all day. I really hope it isn't a flop like all the other times. Storms broke up or weakened before hitting.

Thunderbolt- It is for sure an interesting setup, in the Northeast/Ottawa Valley Today. HRRR has numerous storms breaking out this evening and overnight in that area and being near the warm front...shear and wind profiles favourable tornadoes will be quite good up there as well as favourable parameters for damaging winds.

You guys should bookmark this(my site) as I do convective outlooks and experimental warnings on severe weather days. Gives you guys a little better look than the convective outlooks provided by EC. |

Like what i'm seeing, crossing lake erie from the cleveland area. Some pop ups forming on the outflow of a severe cell that was around zanesville a couple hours ago. Long point area looks to be the destination on the ontario side.

Will have to see if they can make it across the death waters haha. If outflow boundary/lake breeze boundary can provide enough forcing to break the cap we may see some scattered storms go up...will have to see if the LLJ tonight breaks the cap.
