St Catharines - Grimsby - northern Niagara region 6:49 PM EDT Monday 14 June 2004 Severe thunderstorm warning for St Catharines - Grimsby - northern Niagara region issued At 6:45 a line of severe thunderstorms extending from southern Georgian Bay to central Lake Erie will continue to move eastward at 70 km/h. These thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging winds of 100 km/h. This is a warning that severe thunderstorms are imminent or occurring in these regions. Remember some severe thunderstorms produce Tornadoes..Listen for updated warnings. Emergency management Ontario recommends taking cover immediately when threatening weather approaches.
