August 8, 2011 Funnel in Kitchener Area
A funnel cloud, probably a cold core one, was spotted today in the Kitchener area. A friend took pictures of it on her mobile.

ISOLATED FUNNEL CLOUDS HAVE BEEN REPORTED TO THE WEST OF KITCHENER.
THESE FUNNEL CLOUDS ARE WEAK AND ARE NOT EXPECTED TO POSE ANY THREAT
FOR SEVERE WEATHER OVER THE REGIONS.
THE PUBLIC IS ADVISED TO MONITOR FUTURE FORECASTS AND WARNINGS AS
WARNINGS MAY BE REQUIRED OR EXTENDED.
PLEASE MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS AND WARNINGS FROM ENVIRONMENT
