This is a Panoramic view of the Cells over Cleveland and Sandusky taken from Kingsville, Ont harbor. Also attached radar image at the time showing the FOV of the camera. Mostly SSE. The view from here is pretty impressive!

Here are two photos of some interesting clouds I saw while driving from Burlington - Toronto. Sorry the quality isn't better!

I saw a large dark blue base sucking up scud halfway off the ground north of London heading NE around 3pm I think. Not nearly as dramatic as that but I wonder if it was the same cell |

It was really hard to tell because we were driving on the highway, and when my friend saw what it was, she sped up.
It definitely looked to me like they were rotating, and those three separate clouds extending to the ground very quickly came together (over the span of a minute or less) to form that massive on in the second picture. I couldn't tell if the bigger form was rotating (I was much further away at that point), but I would assume that it was given that the smaller ones that formed it were. In addition - by that point it seemed to be moving out onto the lake, which may account for why it took on such a weird shape. |

I was wondering what exactly happened this day as far as why nothing panned out in the southwest. Drove through the storms that went through hamilton and the niagara area as they were forming on the 401 arpund 2pm on my way to get down to southwestern Ontario. Then figured that a cold front would be sure to fire storms as everyone weatherman/woman and their mother warned of severe for the London-Windsor corridor. Then a tornado warning was issued maybe around 5pm as the storms went up in Cleveland area when it was starting to seem to me like there would be no more storms up here with the clearing but I thought where is the front?
No storms fired where there was a tornado warning and for the 30% prob for the Windsor area there was no storms Anyone know what the heck happened? Am I a jinx or what? |

Hey Smokin Joe dont call ur self a jinx its just been one of those years. Every thing went wrong for us. A MCS died out and left cloud debris over us the whole day and not only that but little showers poped up around saginw bay and left us even more cloudy and once we cleared out it was supper time and the daytime heat was done
