I was reading through the Ontario Weather Review for November 2011 that Environment Canada put out and it seems they've confirmed three more small tornadoes that happened this past summer here in our province. All were in northern Ontario - an F0 on July 16th in the Goose Lake area; an F1 tornado on September 2 in the Murillo area near Thunder Bay; and another F1 on September 12 in the Missanabie area, near Wawa. No word on what kind of damage was caused by the tornadoes but nothing too major I would assume, considering where they happened. These bump the annual tally up to 17 which is a decent amount above the yearly average of 13. I've attached the link below for you to look over for yourselves. Happy chasing!
