2016 - Driest summer in Niagara ever

Routine 32°C temperatures, ongoing fire bans in Niagara and desert-like forecasts.
It all adds up to what an Environment Canada authority says is the region’s driest 3½-month stretch in recorded history.
“It’s forgotten how to rain here,” said senior climatologist David Phillips.
“And it’s like a weather-free zone,” added Phillips, in stark contrast to rain-drenched Western Canada.

Not that I noticed! I think a few nights back we had a small thunderstorm that only lasted a few minutes.
