I'm on my porch watching the coming light show. What a way to spend a Sunday night.

It was a great light show; some good thunder, too. Some people in Brampton were saying it dropped grape sized hail.

HAH, I had such a good day I forgot it was a Monday. Still felt like a weekend. Watching a thunderstorm from your own porch is good no matter what day of the week it is!

Got off work at 3PM as the storm was rolling in Ottawa. I had dinner plans and photographed this small wall cloud/storm and its progress as it was coming towards me with my Iphone! Strong winds, 2cm hail and downpour! Suprisingly lots of lightning too! Nice inflow to it and the scuds were very energetic and getting sucked up! Storm went on and off till about 10pm!

And the ol instagram shot just for the hell of it hahah

Also heres a sample of the Hail we got..Some were close to golf ball sized! Not my video!

The storm frizzled severly once it came across the lake. Nothing will ever compare to he storm I experienced in Niagara Falls, NY Sunday afternoon. That...wow.

Hey guys. I know its been a slow season so I thought I'd share this video I took from this day. Headed up to Fergus and took this nice timelapse of one of the bigger storms of the day. I believe this storm had some slight rotation on it at one point and I remember someone on the TWN website posting a photo of a wall cloud below the storm. I think you can see a tad of rotation near the end of the video, or maybe its just me. Also, there appears to maybe be some mammatus clouds visible.

Enjoy!
