High potential today. spc has us at 5-15% for most of S. ont. and tornado probability of 2% for the bruce peninsula extending further to the north east. A very developed line storms already exists over northern wisconsin ahead of the trough line. I'm guessing that will bring us some late afternoon and evening action as it grows larger over the course of the day.

I'm sure there'll be some late afternoon storms in Northeastern Ontario, but I think for Southern Ontario, the timing is more late evening and overnight. Still, that line over Minnesota/Wisconsin pretty much lasted the whole night, so we probably don't need to worry about storms dying after sunset, especially if they're in an organized line.

What sucks most about this year is that most events have been at night, so we rarely get those powerful afternoon storms and instead get puny storms that wake you up at 4am. Better than nothing I guess.

Jinxed it.

The line literally fizzled out as it came ashore, this is unbelievable. Its still okay north and south, but not for me

I'm in a storm-free zone. Niagara: Canada's Tropical Desert. I can't even remember the last time we had rain. Probably a month or longer.
