Towering cumulous are popping up and dying all around niagara some giving brief downpours and some lightning. Currently some beautiful cloud structure north of st. catharines over lake ontario heading north. maybe someone near toronto will experience this if it continues to develop.

Looks like the line of storms about to enter Michigan may come its way into southwestern Ontario. Severe thunderstorm watch 2-3 counties away from the Canadian border. There's also some pop up t-storms in Essex County.

Heavy down pour gusty winds about 50 -60 kmh right now...storm came out of no where....

Looks like a supercell may be developing over lake St-Clair. Big cumulus clouds are going everywhere up here too.

Nice LP lightning show going on over the lake (Ontario) right now. BIG line of storms looks to be on it's way from western Ohio area. Hopefully they will maintain their strength.

DarkSky you should really reconsider opening the chat again. You will always have bad apples no matter what, but for the most part, most others will lead by good example and others will follow. It's a much better method of communication. I have experience running a forum myself. With all the youtubing I've been doing lately and the success I've had...I would say reopen the chat and just let the conversations come in...it's more inviting for newcomers. Either way you still have to register to use the chat.

Had a little thunderstorm here in Sarnia last night. Few rumbles of thunder & lightning flashes and some rain. Nothing too big.

The lightning in Oshawa was beautiful. At one point, I counted a flash every 5 seconds.
