A COLD FRONT CROSSED SOUTHERN ONTARIO FRIDAY NIGHT LEADING IN
A RETURN TO SINGLE DIGIT TEMPERATURES FOR THE WEEKEND -
FOLLOWING SEVERAL DAYS OF UNSEASONABLE WARMTH.

BELOW ARE SOME HIGH TEMPERATURE RECORDS BROKEN FRIDAY. THE PREVIOUS
RECORD AND YEAR OF PREVIOUS RECORD ARE SHOWN IN BRACKETS.

THE NORMAL MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR RANGE FROM
PLUS 3 IN OTTAWA TO PLUS 5 IN TORONTO AND PLUS 7 IN WINDSOR.

ON THE CALENDAR SPRING OFFICIALLY ARRIVES AT 1.32 EASTERN TIME
THIS AFTERNOON.

Those temperatures can come back now.

We peaked at 16.9C which was the highest temp recorded all winter. I was hoping it would stay under 20C because I entered the University of Waterloo Weather Station Contest as April 29th being the first 20C day,
