Perhaps I'm a bit hopeful, but Monday seems to be a shot in the dark. EC and SPC are hinting towards something happening in the afternoon. Any thoughts? It's getting really dry here in Barrie and I haven't seen a good storm at all since I moved. I would like to see a good storm, but will accept any precipitaion at this point.

Cheers,

Bob

Today might be an interesting day. Environment Canada is saying 60 percent chance of showers or thunderstorms late this afternoon, with a chance some storms might become severe. I guess we'll just have to wait and see....

Apparently a tornado may of touched down in Verner (10 minutes west of Sturgeon Falls) and a nursery was evacuated in Garden Village (directly east of Sturgeon Falls)

Reports a twister touched down in #Verner near #NorthBay; and that a nursery in Garden River was evacuated #BreakingNews #Weather #onstorm
Edit: Not from Garden Village. It was in North Bay that the nursery was evacuated.
