Just noticed severe t-storm watches and warnings up for Southern Ontario.
looks like some nice storms near Oshawa and Kitchener. Warnings for Waterloo-wellington, York-Durham, Peterborough - Kawartha lakes, and Halton - Peel.

Kitchener's bubble is working overtime today. All the storms that I see moving in are weakening. Still a lot of lightning and rain in them though.
In all seriousness though, these are very explosive, but short lived, storms. They tend to blow up for 10-20 minutes with potentially large hail and then die out with surrounding storms blowing up afterward. It's not actually Kitchener's bubble that's doing anything. It's more that the areas to the west and north have a lot of instability.

Yesterday there was a nice slow lazy cell passing by that was producing some CC bolts. Other than that, nothing severe in this neck of the woods so far this year
