June 20 Severe weather potential
Just had a look at the SPC Day 2 outlook and it looks like we have a slight risk covering a lot of S. On.
Any thoughts on how tomorrow will play out?

Hopefully this turns out differently than the last threat... The Prairies have been getting all the good weather. Here it's just sun, boring rain, or the occasional storm, but no real outbreaks yet. A few days have had severe weather, but it hasn't been widespread.

Lots of potential by the looks of it. Here's hoping the cold front timing will change the outcome of this one more. The weather in southern Manitoba, associated with what's coming our way, has seen at least one tornado (that I am aware of). Despite the letdown of the last one, I'm still optimistic
 .

I have mixed feeling on this one. The CAPE potentials for the day are much lower than I was expecting but the shear over lake Huron is much higher. If that alone can support the system then we should be okay for a round of good storms. There's a fair bit of development on the satellite imagery already so fingers crossed.

A good line of storms now from from Harrisville MI to Milwaukee WI, still in their very early stages but this is good.
edit: Also seeing better values for Ontario now in the updated models. I'm thinking the hot spot will likely be just east of London around 5pm that's my guess

Another bust! Two in a row... Is there still any instability in SW Ontario? Central and Eastern are getting all the storms as always. Are we getting cursed by terrible lake breezes?
