Cool thanks!

I wish it had of been daylight for that storm even though it practically was with all the lightning.

Not sure I should add Georgina June 8 storm to this thread
We got plastered with a storm last evening around 6:30pm,
Some news articles about it.

I was standing at a gas pump when the sky turned that odd shade of green and it let go, high winds, heavy rain, things flying around, and hail.
Lot of trees and some power polls down all over town, report of at least one house losing its roof.
Many people with no power since 6:30 last night and they were still out this morning.

Got to find someplace to get me a window mount for my camcorder!

Yep! Anything in Ontario to do with a specific storm day can go into a thread if it's already created for that day.

Just found this hydro-one Ontario zoomable map that shows the storms damage corridor to the power grid system (110000 houses out)
http://www.hydroone.com/StormCenter/

I think it is regularly updated so as things get patched up they may disappear off the map

June 8 damage summary :

Code:
301
 AWCN11 CWTO 092325
WEATHER SUMMARY FOR ALL OF SOUTHERN ONTARIO AND THE
NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION ISSUED BY ENVIRONMENT CANADA
AT 7:25 PM EDT THURSDAY 9 JUNE 2011.

-------------------------------------------------------------
 ==WEATHER EVENT DISCUSSION==
AFTER RECEIVING NUMEROUS REPORTS OF DAMAGE FROM A SERIES OF
THUNDERSTORMS THAT IMPACTED VARIOUS PARTS OF SOUTHERN ONTARIO ON
WEDNESDAY JUNE 8TH, AN ENVIRONMENT CANADA DAMAGE SURVEY TEAM WAS
SENT TO TWO OF THE HARDEST HIT AREAS TO TRY AND DETERMINE THE CAUSE
OF THE DAMAGE. THE DAMAGE SURVERY TEAM VISITED THE COBOCONK AREA TO
THE EAST OF LAKE SIMCOE IN THE KAWARTHA LAKES REGION, AND MINDEN
HILLS IN THE SOUTHERN PART OF HALIBURTON COUNTY. TWO POWERFUL LINES
OF THUNDERSTORMS MOVED THROUGH THESE AREA ON WEDNESDAY. THE FIRST
LINE OCCURRED BETWEEN 2 PM AND 3 PM WITH THE SECOND OCCURRING
BETWEEN 7 PM AND 8 PM. IT APPEARS THAT THE MAJORITY OF THE DAMAGE
IN THE COBOCONK AND MINDEN HILLS AREAS OCCURRED WITH THE FIRST LINE
OF ACTIVITY. ALL OF THE DAMAGE THAT WAS SEEN WAS CONSISTENT WITH
DOWNBURTS OR DAMAGING WINDS AND NOT TORNADOES. SOME OF THE DAMAGE
WAS CONSISTENT WITH PEAK WINDS IN THE ORDER OF 120 TO 140 KM/H.

THE SECOND LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ALSO AFFECTED PARTS OF THE
GREATER TORONTO AREA EARLY WEDNESDAY EVENING. TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS,
STRONG WINDS, HAIL AND INTENSE LIGHTNING WERE ASSOCIATED.

DUE TO THE LARGE NUMBER OF AREAS ACROSS SOUTHERN ONTARIO THAT
EXPERIENCED SOME FORM OF DAMAGE IN THE LAST FEW DAYS, ENVIRONMENT
CANADA WILL CONTINUE TO INVESTIGATE OTHER SIGNIFICANT AREAS OF
DAMAGE AND UPDATE THIS STATEMENT ACCORDINGLY.

REPORTS OF SEVERE WEATHER THAT OCCURRED ON WEDNESDAY RECEIVED BY
 ENVIRONMENT CANADA AS OF
7 PM THURSDAY ARE FOUND IN THE TABLE IMMEDIATELY BELOW.
