Positive Streamer

I found the frame on a video frame from Monday night (coming immediately before a lightning bolt). I've actually never seen one on my camera before.

I tracked the likely origin of the streamer to a metal t-post supporting a tree 20 m from the house. The bolt itself hit a tree another 60 m beyond that.

I recently moved from a small 7th floor apartment to a house and have been feeling just slightly sad about losing the view. Now it seems there are bonuses for being closer to the ground.
