Apparently there's been funnel clouds and confirmed tornadoes west of Detroit.

Yup Dexter MI, severe damage to buildings, multiple funnel clouds reported across the state.

Just these little cells in the area just east of toronto are putting out a ferocious amount of lightning, even just as i wrote this, the power keeps goin(huge bang)g out and there have been multiple cg strikes in the surrounding area along with very loud thunder in some cases. One instance the lightning came down and there was a bizzare bluish glow after for a second almost like you would see in a power flash. The most racket and intense lightning i've seen in a long long time. Even got a few frame grabs I will post soon. D@mn! that was intense! A huge CG bolt just dropped down, to the northwest.

Thanks for the update ratslicer. Yes looking at the radar loop, the most intense cells from this system going through is in a line up around the Peterborough area. Looks like mostly rain in other places. The forecast is for more tstorms Friday. A nice early start to our storm season.
