doesn't look like the CIN has dropped yet. Could be looking at some nice storms later today once it does. Early morning convective storms are usually pretty weak.

Just got back from a storm chase, Intercepted a large rotating cell somewhere NW of London and had it fly by heading NE. Was a great cell, it looked like it wanted to produce at one point and had some great structure. The lighting with the setting sun made things look really nice too

Round two of storms today just came through the Loo. This cell was warned, and didn't produce. Just some lightning. Two brief spurts of rain, now it's racing on east of here.

This storm this afternoon was outstanding. Should have been warned, caused significant damage and five injuries. Though it doesn't state in the summary, news said EC will be in the area investigating if a tornado caused any of the damage.

It was literally like a hurricane around 230pm. This wall of of wind and rain blasted us and visibility dropped to just a few dozen metres. The neighbours playset picked up and flew across the yard. It was a mess of loose objects flying around. After the storm passed the windows were covered with leaves and flower petals. Still are!

CTV SWON was out and about at 6pm. A trailer at the mobile home park just north of here was destroyed. The lady inside dove in her bathtub just before a tree crashed onto it slicing it in two. Lots of trees and power lines are down. Shingles were torn off roofs, some buildings are missing parts of their roofs, etc. Lots of fences were downed, and someones gazebo tore apart. Pretty widespread damage.

I wonder if that's related to the cell I saw at 1230 in grand bend ????? sounds to early though.
