SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING ISSUED BY ENVIRONMENT CANADA. REGIONAL CENTRE TORONTO ONTARIO. 2.48 PM EDT WEDNESDAY 4 AUGUST 1999. SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING ISSUED FOR..
REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF NIAGARA.
AT 2.20 PM SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS NEAR BURLINGTON WERE MOVING SOUTHEASTWARDS AT 50 KM/H. WINDS GUSTS OF 90 KM/H FUNNEL CLOUDS AND TORRENTIAL RAINS ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS. THERE IS THE RISK OF A BRIEF TORNADO TOUCHDOWN.
THIS IS A WARNING THAT SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE IMMINENT OR OCCURRING IN THESE REGIONS. REMEMBER SOME SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE TORNADOES..LISTEN FOR UPDATED WARNINGS. EMERGENCY MEASURES ONTARIO RECOMMENDS TAKING COVER IMMEDIATELY WHEN THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES.
