We are getting heavy rain here and some intense thunder and lightning that appears to be getting closer.

The storm really intensified after my post. I thought it was going to be a weak storm and went to bed. About 15mins later I hopped out of bed and watched from the window as I was treated to continuous lightning and thunder, very heavy rain.

What a great start to the year!
