June 24, 2012 Thunderstorm in London
A weak storm approaches in the distance, I notice weak rotation on radar and visually see some structure to the cell and it had a nice roll cloud at the time on the flank.
These shots are all looking west, here is a radar grab around the time I was taking pictures http://ontariostorms.com/picture.php...&pictureid=270 http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5320/7...8975bc91_b.jpg The storm gain some strength and forms a lowered base and rain foot http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8001/7...824579eb_b.jpg It soon began to weaken but at this time was dropping some large cg's well outside the rain core under the base It had a tiny tiny nubby inflow tail http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5236/7...633d6037_b.jpg It weakened the base took on a nice smoothened look as it passed by http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7255/7...e7e0885a_b.jpg Later on a separate cell with some thunder http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8146/7...4a0de941_b.jpg |
